1. not an 'outdoor' like material
2. Something she can take off the bike and carry with her into wherever she goes. Panniers without that feature doesn't make sense! Why would you leave the bag and belongings on a bike, outside.
3. Sturdy on the bottom

5. Easily storable
6. Have plenty of space
7. Comes in a set of two bags
8. Affordable
This pannier provides all eight. If you're looking for a pannier for bopping around town, for grocery shopping, or going to work this is it. I haven't seen what its like in adverse weather, however. I would definitely recommend this product. It also arrived a day early.

Comments：I was looking for a pannier bag for ages. I wanted something classic and simple that I wouldn't be embarrassed to carry around (I bike to/from work and don't want to be carrying a neon orange bag or some nonsense around the office), but also weather-resistant and roomy. Fortunately, this bag fulfilled all those needs and more. I love the snaps that allow you to roll up one side and attach it securely to your bike rack. I am so in love with this bag. Maybe I'll even buy another in another color!

Comments：Love the look of this bag compared to the plastic look of most waterproof bags. The colors are deep, and the bag has a luxurious look akin to the Longchamp Le Pliage purse. Although I just got it, I expect the bag to be fairly durable because the walls are constructed of heavy nylon-type material. The stitching looks okay. The snaps should to do fine with care (i.e. don't bump or snag them on objects).

Comments：I haven't been disappointed with this bag. When I opened it, it smelled like a new car. The brass snap buttons on the bag are convenient and have a vintage feel. The ability to roll up the sides with the snaps is handy. I've already ridden about a hundred miles with the bag and it doesn't seem clunky. It easily fit a spare pair of clothes, jacket, sweatshirt, bicycle tools, toiletries. My only complaint is that the bag is a bit pricey

Comments：Good quality, but didn’t ride a lot yet. Installation was easy. I leave them on the bike when I park it. Was concerned they might be stolen, but decided not to lock them on to save on weight. I like that the canvas is waxed. When it got dusty, I just hosed them off with cold water and they look new again. I like that they have magnetic closures on the flaps that cover each of the two compartments.
